Isla Bute

Isla Bute is the epitome of a jack-of-all-trades. A senior at Gallatin High, she balances her time writing and taking photos for the newspaper, playing soccer, participating in environmental club, traveling, being outdoors, and skiing. She is also the founder of the GHS film club.

When Isla graduates, she will attend Union University in Jackson, TN to play Division II soccer and study Photojournalism. Some of her accomplishments include Academic All-State 2022 and 2023, Gallatin High core value award for ‘Most Dedicated’ and ‘Champion,’ Most Valuable Player for Gallatin High School Symphony, and the Presidential Physical Fitness Award. Whether she is appreciating the great outdoors or honing in on writing, Isla always puts 110% in whatever she does. She aspires to create a real difference in the Bozeman community and enjoy every opportunity presented to her.
